The Secret Garden is this year's outdoor drama, brought to you by the ever popular team at Heartbreak Productions.
Gates open at 6pm, performance begins 6.30pm

The play is adapted from the novel by Frances Hodgson Burnett, 1911.

Orphaned by a cholera outbreak in India, Mary is placed under the care of her grief-stricken uncle in the Yorkshire moors.

Aided by the staff, Mary begins to blossom; finding solace by tending to the gardens.

When she comes across a secret garden locked and left to grow wild, Mary is determined to get access but in doing so she will uncover a lot more than an over grown patch of land – where are those mysterious cries coming from? Why is the garden locked?

Performed in the great outdoors, Heartbreak Productions version of this classic children’s tale suitable for all the family, demonstrates all that is good about friendship and promises to add a touch of magic to your summer’s evening.

Running time: 2 hours which includes a 20 minute interval

Recommended age: 6+

Come and picnic on on the Parish Field, where you will find a Pimms gazebo and a beer tent.
