Enjoy our free day for all the family at our popular weekend long event of all things creative.

On Saturday from 10am - 4 pm you can enjoy live music, dance and entertainment with something for all ages. Remember also our craft market which runs from 11- 4pm today.

 The day kicks off with guitar duo Los Zouchos setting the carnival atmosphere. Throughout the day enjoy the spectacle of Bollywood style dancing from Rosetta’s Dancers.

Adventures in Storytelling:
Join storyteller Pyn Stockman and musician Ann Jones in these interactive storytelling adventures at Market Bosworth Festival. Be amazed by tales from around the world. Hear about mythical creatures and magical monsters. Journey to far away kingdoms in this rich mix of legends and folktales that will keep all the family captivated.

Pyn Stockman 
Pyn lives on a boat and spends her time researching, working with and telling stories to people of all ages - understandably she loves her work.
Her family friendly storytelling has been described as "wonderfully lively” and " magical and mesmerising" 

Pyn_500.jpgPyn works regularly as a storyteller with City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, West Midlands Readers Network and schools and libraries across the UK. She is also artistic co-director of Secret City Arts. You can find out more about her work at www.pynstockman.com

Ann Jones 
Ann Jones is a professional musician with a diverse and rich musical background. She collaborates regularly with artists from a range of disciplines as well as performing as part of the award winning Burdock Band. Ann works regularly with Birmingham Hippodrome and Midland Arts Centre and is the musical director for Secret City Arts "Animal Lullabies” project.


Hogia Penrhos is 
a small male-voice choir based around the Penrhos pub at Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch on Anglesey.  The choir performs regularly at many local community venues and has competed at various events such as the Pan-Celtic Festival and the National Eisteddfod. The choir's repertoire consists of a mixture of modern and traditional Welsh songs.

Try your hand at circus skills with the brilliant Helter Skelter who return for the third year running or learn how to play the drums with Jude from BeatFeet drumming workshops. Performances by local schools and Bosworth Theatre Stars musical theatre group too. So plenty to see and do.

Set on the Parish Field in the centre of historic Market Bosworth you can spend a few hours or easily fill the whole day enjoying the entertainment, visiting the craft market or quilting show or just taking in the atmosphere. 

Refreshments are available from local providers or you could combine it with a visit to the local shops and cafés.We thank our patrons and sponsors for their generosity in allowing this event to be free.

On Sunday from 12noon - 3 pm bring a picnic and chairs to the Parish Field and chill out at our lunchtime concert. This year's Sunday concert features Rachel Ball and Sounds of Simon : read more about Sunday.
